Irrigation Maintenance Division
When an irrigation system is designed, it is designed to last for quite some time.
The materials that are specified on the blueprints are of a higher commercial grade and not retail. The commercial grade materials are designed and produced for the extremely high water pressure and volume of water flow that will be traveling through them. When the parts are being replaced with a lesser quality, the integrity of your irrigation system decreases.
Thus causing a much higher maintenance system and a much less cost efficient system, costing in some cases hundreds and even thousands of dollars extra in water bills and repairs each month. These are systems that in 5 to 10 years are always having breaks, heads popping off, valve failure and timers shorting out or not even coming on at all. When you repair or replace these parts with the exact same quality that was originally installed, your system will last much longer than you could possibly imagine.
The purpose of having an irrigation maintenance contract is to prevent these types of problems from occurring and most importantly from constantly reoccurring. This in turn will drop the cost of your water bills and your irrigation repairs to a more manageable level. It’s strongly recommended that a licensed irrigation contractor service your system that will always have the original parts on their service truck. It’s not the responsibility nor is it in your landscapers contract to do repairs to your irrigation system. They need to spend their time with the landscaping not the irrigation system. When you have a good landscaper and a good irrigation contractor, you have all that you need in place to maximize your landscaping and irrigation potential.
